Year two for the MLB prospect set overflowing with patterns and on-card autographs, 2018 Bowman High Tek Baseball has only one pack per box but it contains four signed cards. Building on the 2017 debut , the 2018 edition features a new selection of inserts and a few new parallel choices. Printed on acetate, the base set in 2018 Bowman High Tek Baseball is issued in 10 different patterns. Pattern 1 also features a colorful parallel assortment with Purple Rainbow (#/191), Green Rainbow (#/99), Ocean Blue Tidal (#/75), which is new, Gold Rainbow (#/50), Orange Magma Diffractor (#/25), Red Orbit Diffractor (#/5), Black Galactic Diffractor (1/1) and Printing Proofs (1/1). Jumping past Pattern 2 to Pattern 8, Pattern 9 comes as the SpeckTEKular Diffractor (1/1), while Pattern 10 is seen via the Black Galactic Diffractor (1/1).
