Year three of the MLB hat promo seemed to float under the radar a bit more than past editions, but 2018 Topps New Era Baseball cards add another chapter to the exclusive set. Issued at select MLB stadium stores as a purchase incentive for buying New Era caps and Topps products, the cards feature the 2018 Topps flagship design . According to Topps, the eight-card packs are limited to team stores for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals. Although many collectors are listing them for sale online as variations, they have a numbering system that is unique to the set rather than matching the Series 1 or Series 2 checklist.
